utah vacation: mueller park canyon

Saturday July 17, 2010
One afternoon, we went with Sam and Allison up to Mueller Park. It's a canyon I lived next to when I was younger. On our way over, we drove through our old neighborhood and old house.

At the canyon, Parker and Grace played in the stream.

Sam built us a fire to roast marshmallows in. Oliver wasn't allowed to have any marshmallows because I didn't want to him or I to be a sticky mess for the rest of the day. He seemed fine to just eat his toes.

It was nice to get outside and the smell of the canyon was very nostalgic.
Here is the gang hanging out waiting for the fire to die down so we can get to some roasting of mallows.

Yay! for cold streams on hot summer days.

Mueller Park!!!! I haven't been up the canyon in years! It was so fun as a kid, hiking to elephant rock, throwing rocks in the stream, campfires. That is so fun!
